ABOUT JACOB

I am Alabi Jacob Adewale. An 18 year old Nigerian blogger, my friends call me JAYWAL – an acronym from my names, JAY from Jacob and WAL from AdeWALe. I care about my people and with that, they love what I do.

My Computer Experience
To say the fact, right from my childhood I love computing a lot. I am always happy when it comes to computing; always eager to learn new tricks and skills in the ever-competitive world of computing. My early computer experience was as far back as 2008, after which I tried to improve myself through various motivational write–ups, tutorial classes, helpful articles and seminars. These self-improvement programs and several computer trainings helped me to sustain my virtue as a good typist, graphic designer, web designer, photo designer, blogger and a programmer.

My Blogging Experience
I dived into blogging about a couple of years ago (early 2014 precisely). I grew up among people of great values with original concepts and their existences had imparted my life positively. My starting point on the 'blogosphere' was really funny. It is really absurd to jump into what you had never experienced before but due to some experience of the modern web design languages such as JavaScript, HTML and CSS, starting a good blog wasn’t that difficult.

My Favourite Quotes
What had always kept me moving was that “I don’t burn myself up trying to compete with others. Firstly, I compete with myself and then maintain my standard to face the challenges on my way.” I do belief that if anybody can think of it, I can do it and if anybody can do it mine is not an exception.

Ambition Challenges
In my early day of career choice, I heard of many my myths that programmers were destined to have short life / programming is boring / graduates of computer science dominate the world’s largest range of unemployment and all sorts of discouragements. I know that these messages of dooms were to test my heart on how serious I was with my career. As for me, I always kept what William Shakespeare (1564 – 1616) said in my heart. He said “Listen to many, speak to a few”; I re framed this quote as “Listen to many but react to a few of their speech”. The greatest ambition / career challenge were discouraging words. When I know what I want to do, all I usually do is find how I am going to do it. “For me, I’m focused on what I want to do. I know what I need to do to be a champion, so I’m working on it”. – Usain Boit (1986).

My Aim, Objective, Ambition and Hobby
My aim is different from my objective, my objective is different from my ambition and my ambition differs from my hobby. I never missed these four components of me together.

  • My aim was to become a good programmer in life. And my role model was Blaise Pascal. (I respect him because he was able to come up with something unique during his lifetime).

  • My objective was to support the growing population of computer users with good informative system. I want to be the helping hand many people need.

  • My ambition was to strive my way as a Reputable, Reliable and Respected computer scientist (I called it RRR) and,

  • My hobby is always a leisure period with the piano.

My Mentor
My greatest mentor is my Creator the Almighty God who had spared my life to this very moment. In the same vein, my family had given me great mentorship of which I will never forget and I will never forget my modest and genius friends too. To them all I say “I Love You All…”

My Favorite Colour
My favorite colour is any colour of the family of green and yellow.

My Humble Advice
